Service details

Stop worrying about the back office and get your time back for growing the business.
Full-service bookkeeping and tax compliance from STA Accounting and Consulting, run by a professional team properly licensed under Thai law. Your business gets accurate, transparent financial records filed on time with every authority, without hiring in-house accounting staff and without buying accounting software or extra computer systems. We work closely with you, like a partner inside your organisation, to get the most out of every step.

1. Digital systems and legal readiness (Customer Service)
Appointment of an accountant to act as your company's registered accountant, as the law requires.
Full online filing: financial statements through DBD e-Filing, tax returns and Social Security over the internet.
Handling the paperwork through the accounting cycle, including the newspaper notice calling the annual shareholders' meeting, plus collection and delivery of your accounting documents.

2. Bookkeeping, document control and closing (Accounting and Closing)
Checking and screening every bill and accounting document before work starts.
Recording in internationally standard accounting software recognised by the Revenue Department, with journals, general ledger and trial balance kept in order.
Summarising the accounting detail, including receivables, payables and cheques received and issued, so you can control cash flow accurately.
A full set of financial statements as the law requires, balance sheet, profit and loss and notes, submitted with the Sor Bor Chor 3 form and the Bor Or Jor 5 shareholder list through DBD e-Filing.

3. Tax management and risk control (Taxation Services)
A personal tax adviser to help you plan lawfully, and to attend and explain tax points to Revenue Department officers on your behalf.
Full corporate income tax handling, half-year (PND 51) and annual (PND 50), with revenue reconciled against the tax reports for maximum safety.
VAT handling: input and output tax reports, PP 30 and PP 36 filings where payments are made abroad.
All withholding tax, monthly and the annual summary (PND 1, PND 3, PND 53, PND 54, PND 1 Kor), plus specific business tax (PT 40).

4. Social Security administration (Social Security)
Monthly contributions calculated and filed online for every employee (SSO 1-10).
Annual reporting: the wage declaration and the workmen's compensation fund forms (Kor Tor 20 Kor, Kor Tor 26 Kor), filed by the Social Security Office deadlines.

Benefits to be received

1. You see the numbers during the year, instead of waiting until year end to find out what you made
Monthly financial reports show your real profit or loss and your real cash flow every period, so you can price, hire and invest on actual figures rather than on feel.

2. Tax planning while there is still something you can do about it
Once the accounting year closes, net profit is locked and all that is left is filling in the form correctly. Seeing the numbers every month lets you estimate the tax in advance and act before the year ends.

3. You do not miss the monthly deadlines, which is where SMEs get fined most often
PND 1, 3 and 53 are due by the 7th, PP 30 by the 15th, and Social Security every month. STA collects your documents by the 3rd of the following month so the team has time to check them before the real deadline.

4. Problem documents are caught in the same month, not at year end
A bill that cannot be claimed as an expense, a tax invoice missing required details, or an entry with no supporting document, is reported back to you in that period, while there is still time to fix it with your supplier. Found at year end, it is usually too late.

5. The annual work is already in the fee. No extra bill at the end of the year
A full set of financial statements, the PND 51 and PND 50 filings, submission of the financial statements to the Department of Business Development, and the Bor Or Jor 5 shareholder list, are all included in the monthly fee.

6. No fixed cost for in-house accounting staff
No salary, bonus or benefits to pay every month, and no work stalling because someone resigns mid-year. You are looked after by a team, not by one person.

7. A tax adviser for the whole contract, not billed by the hour
Ask accounting and tax questions at any time by phone or LINE, at no extra charge.

8. Financial statements a bank or an investor can read straight away
Recorded to accounting standards, with a registered accountant legally responsible for them, so you can use them for a loan application or investor discussions without redoing anything.

Criteria for calculating service fees

The fee is based on the actual scope of work, not on your registered capital or your revenue.

What we price on
- Document volume per month, counting purchase and sales tax invoices, receipts and bank transactions
- Type of business, for example services, buy and resell, manufacturing, or online selling
- Complexity, for example stock accounting, transactions with other countries, or BOI privileges
- How the documents reach us. A business that sends files the system can import pays noticeably less than one that sends paper
- Extra work you ask for, such as payroll or management reports

What to know before you decide
- For a business with activity, we charge from a minimum of 30 transactions a month, because the work that has to be done every month, such as filing returns and closing the books, is the same whether there are 5 documents or 30
- The fee excludes 7% VAT
- The audit fee is charged separately, and a business whose books STA keeps always uses an outside licensed CPA, to protect independence under the professional code of ethics
- The price quoted is agreed for the whole year with no hidden charges along the way. Every quotation sets out the full scope before work starts, so there is never a question later about what is and is not included

Get a quote online and see the price range before you decide. Answer 6 short questions in under 2 minutes and the system estimates a range straight away from your actual document volume and type of business. The team then comes back with a quotation within 1 working day. Go to www.account.co.th/quote or use the Request a Quote menu at the top of the site.

Note: the range the system estimates is a preliminary figure based on what you enter yourself. The team always confirms the real price after seeing the actual documents.

Work steps

1. Receiving and sorting documents (Document Management)
- We receive accounting, tax and bank statement documents, both on paper and as digital files
- We sort and categorise them into an orderly, secure filing system

2. Tax and Social Security (Tax and Social Security Compliance)
- We prepare and check withholding tax returns (PND 1, 3, 53, 54), VAT returns (PP 30, 36) and Social Security contributions
- We tell you the amounts due, file the returns and pay online, and print the receipts
- We send you copies of the returns and the official receipts

3. Bookkeeping (Full-Cycle Bookkeeping)
- We record purchases and sales, cash and credit, income and expenses, and match billing against payment
- We record and reconcile bank transactions, transfers, cheques received and issued, interest and fees
- We check that input and output tax agree with the reports and the returns filed

4. Monthly and annual closing (Account Closing)
- We record the asset register and post depreciation automatically to the general ledger
- We adjust accruals and prepayments, deferred income and accrued salaries
- We reconcile and adjust opening and closing inventory
- We revalue foreign currency balances (multicurrency revaluation)

5. Review and reporting (Financial Review and Reporting)
- We check the general ledger against the supporting records for banks, receivables, payables, cheques and assets
- We prepare and deliver your monthly financial report, for management use and for checking performance

6. Checking and returning documents (Document Return)
- We collect and check that all original documents are complete
- We prepare the set and return it to you securely once that period is finished

Documents to be prepared for the company

1. Identity and incorporation documents, to set up your file
- Company registration documents: a copy of the company affidavit with the objectives, a copy of the partnership or company registration certificate, and a copy of the memorandum of association (Bor Or Jor 2)
- Tax and shareholder documents: a copy of the VAT certificate (Por Por 20, if any), a copy of the taxpayer identification card, and a copy of the latest shareholder list (Bor Or Jor 5)
- Director and online access: a copy of the authorised director's ID card, the credentials for internet tax filing, and a map of the company location
- Agreement: a signed copy of the approved accounting service quotation

2. Monthly accounting documents, for recording income and expenses
- Income side: all sales tax invoices, invoices and receipts, together with proof of receipt such as receipt vouchers or bank pay-in slips
- Purchase side: all purchase tax invoices, delivery notes, invoices and receipts, together with payment vouchers or bank withdrawal slips
- General expenses with no input tax: fuel bills, expressway tolls, cash bills and other incidental expenses in the company's name
- Withholding tax: withholding tax certificates issued when the company pays, and certificates received when the company is paid
- Bank and stock: copies of bank statements for every company account, both current and savings, and the stock or raw material report if there is one

3. Additional documents, only if the business has been trading for more than a year
Used to verify opening balances and set up the figures carried forward from your previous accountant.
- Prior-year financial statements and tax filings: the latest annual financial statements with the auditor's report, the financial statement submission form (Sor Bor Chor 3) and the trial balance
- Closing schedules: trade receivables, trade payables, cheques on hand received and issued, and the closing inventory report
- Asset register and accruals: the asset register with accumulated depreciation, accrued income and expenses, and income and expenses received or paid in advance
- Legal documents: company contracts still in force

Document receiving time

No more worrying about filing tax late. STA collects your documents by the 3rd of the following month, and the team sorts them and prepares the withholding tax data (PND 1, 3, 53) together with VAT and specific business tax (PP 30, PT 40), so everything reaches the Revenue Department on time, by the 7th and the 15th of the month. 100% safe from penalties.

Frequently asked questions

1)
Q: What is the difference between the monthly and the yearly service, and which should I choose?
A: The monthly service suits a business with continuous activity, because it already has to file withholding tax, VAT and Social Security every month. Doing the bookkeeping at the same time means you see the numbers during the year and can plan tax in time. The yearly service suits a business with few transactions and no monthly filing duty. If you are not sure which group you are in, the team can assess it from your actual document volume.

2)
Q: By what date each month do I have to send documents to STA?
A: STA collects documents by the 3rd of the following month, so the team has time to sort and check them before the withholding tax deadline on the 7th and the VAT deadline on the 15th. The sooner we have them, the more chance there is to find and fix anything wrong in time.

3)
Q: In a month with no activity at all, do I still have to file?
A: Yes. A VAT-registered operator has to file PP 30 every month even with no purchases or sales. Not filing because there seems to be nothing to file is one of the most common causes of penalties.

4)
Q: Can I move from my current accounting firm during the year? Is it difficult?
A: You can. What you need from your previous accountant is the latest annual financial statements with the auditor's report, the trial balance, and the supporting schedules as at the transfer date, such as receivables, payables, the asset register and closing inventory. The team checks the opening balances before recording the first entry.

5)
Q: Does STA audit the accounts as well?
A: No. A business whose books STA keeps always uses an outside licensed CPA, to protect the auditor's independence under the professional code of ethics. We can coordinate with the auditor and prepare the documents, but we do not certify the financial statements of a client whose accounts we keep.
